d'Incendie et de Secours 26 (Drome). Many thanks to the firefighters at Valence for
opening the doors and allowing me to take photos. Valence

The station is so big I couldn't fit it all into a single
picture! So here are two photos of the station. The station is built in a "C"
shape, with three walls of bays.

The station has two FPTs based at it. The first is a Renault
Midlum FPTL.

The other FPT is a foam pump (FPTGP), again on Renault
Midlum chassis.

The most used trucks in France are Renaults, but Iveco, MAN, or as seen here,
Mercedes trucks are also used. This is a Merc Atego model, with Metz EPA ladders.

Two ambulances are also based at Valence. On the right is an older Renault Master
VSAB, while on the left is a newer style Master VSAV.

Two VPCEs are seen here. An Iveco/UNIC truck is seen on the right, and an off road
Renault VPCE HR on the left.

This stylish little truck is a Renault Midlum / Sides VSR. This is the newest
appliance at the station.

This Renault Midliner S100 was formerly the station's VSR before the Midlum above
replaced it. It is now kept as a spare.

Another pair of appliances at the station are two Renault Master VTUs. The first is
this one, 9404 VS 26.

The other VTU is 9530 VW 26. It is seen showing some of the equipment it carries
inside the station.

The station also has two CCFMs. The first away is Renault Midlum / Gallin 544 WS
26.

The second CCFM is another identical Midlum, with a similar registration, 546 WS
26.

Citroen Berlingo VL, 7369 VW 26.

The station also has a pair of Land Rover Defenders. The first is a Defender 90
VLHR.

The other VLHR is a Defender 130 pick-up.

This Citroen Jumper VPL is used for towing and deploying the station's rescue boat.

Renault Master VSec. The vehicle parks at the back of RTAs and can warn and direct
traffic. It has various lights, markings and a matrix display to help with this.

USB pod seen in the stations yard. The VPC that carries and moves the pods was away
at time of my visit.
