Cheshire is home to the only ALP in the brigade. It is a Volvo FL10 / Bronto Skylift appliance, a very common combination in the UK. The vehicle was bought from Merseyside F&R, and is registered N65 DEM. | |

Chester have also received a new water rescue vehicle, this Ford Ranger 4x4 seen in the bay along with its boat. | |

This interesting vehicle is a GMC Sierra SL3500 4x4 with Jennings bodywork. It was formerly a HMU (Hazardous Materials Unit), but is now used as an L4V to tow the boat, and carries basic water rescue equipment. | |
