Chester is one of two stations in the brigade to have one of these new MAN LE14.280 / TVAC appliances. This one is DK57GCX, which has callsign 091.

wpe4A.jpg (49415 bytes) Cheshire is home to the only ALP in the brigade. It is a Volvo FL10 / Bronto Skylift appliance, a very common combination in the UK. The vehicle was bought from Merseyside F&R, and is registered N65 DEM.
Chester have also received a new water rescue vehicle, this Ford Ranger 4x4 seen in the bay along with its boat.

Former Appliances

wpe49.jpg (45344 bytes) The second Sabre is fitted with the smaller ML-style cab, and is registered N712 GFM.
wpe4B.jpg (44147 bytes) This interesting vehicle is a GMC Sierra SL3500 4x4 with Jennings bodywork. It was formerly a HMU (Hazardous Materials Unit), but is now used as an L4V to tow the boat, and carries basic water rescue equipment.
