The station's pump is DPL1171 (RX04 BPE), a TVAC bodied Mercedes-Benz Atego. It is seen behind the station after returning from a shout.
wpe57.jpg (37086 bytes) Two of these Iveco Daily DIM (Detection, Identification and Monitoring) units, which are supplied by the government. The first of these vehicles is DIM009 (MX56 NHD). The van has the callsign Alpha Tango 1 and is for chemical incidents in central London.
wpe3A.jpg (45023 bytes) The other DIM van has callsign Alpha Tango 2 and responds to chemical incidents in outer London. It is registered MX06 VBV and carries fleet number DIM003. It is seen at Chingford fire station during their open day.

Former Appliances

wpe3A.jpg (37908 bytes) Before the arrival of the DIMs the CBRN teams used RRU1 (M992 LYP), a converted Volvo / Saxon pump, originally based at Manchester Square. It is seen in attendance at a chemical incident in Peckham Rye.
wpe3A.jpg (40607 bytes) The station's old pump ladder was this Volvo FL6.14 / Saxon appliance, DPL1027 (P477 RHV), seen here at the brigade workshops in Barking.
wpe3C.jpg (43990 bytes) Before the CSU, the command unit from Lambeth was formed of Volvo FL6.14 HDC32 (K962 EYH), carrying command unit pod CUB5. It is seen at a chemical incident in Peckham.
wpe3C.jpg (47601 bytes) One of the LFB's most interesting vehicles was this Spectra bodied Volvo B10M, used as the LFB Brigade Command Unit. It is registered R131KGH, and is seen here in front of the old Lambeth workshops.
